Welcome to Freshmen English! I created this website so that students and parents can easily access assignments, dates of quizzes and tests, and other necessary information about English class. I am looking forward to a fabulous and successful year, and I hope that you are, too!
Of course, it comes as no surprise that I LOVE to read and write, but I have other interests, too! My favorite place to be in the world is at the beach. I am a certified Scuba Diver, and I dive whenever I get the chance! I am a very active person, and I love to run, swim, and play various sports. I also enjoy art; I love to draw and paint. I love to travel - experiencing different cultures is simply fascinating to me.
I went to Christopher Newport University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Language Arts and Secondary Education. I also graduated with a History minor. I am currently working on a Masters Degree in Reading Education from the University of Virginia.
